Murderess Toni Jo Henry, originally Annie Beatrice McQuiston is executed by Old Sparky at the age of 26 in Lake Charles Parish jail, 5410 Broad Street, Lake Charles, Louisiana, United States.

During the time Henry was being tried Louisiana changed its method of execution from hanging to death by electrocution. Henry was executed within the basement of the Lake Charles Prison in Louisiana's portable electric chair which had been brought by truck from Angola the previous day. Henry was the only woman executed in Louisiana's electric chair.

Corbitt knew his hangman even before he committed the crime. At the time of the murder he was a frequent customer in Pierrepoint's pub 'Help The Poor Struggler' on Manchester Road in the Hollinwood area of Oldham.

The flight was designed and marketed as a unique sightseeing experience, carrying an experienced Antarctic guide who pointed out scenic features and landmarks using the aircraft public-address system, while passengers enjoyed a low-flying sweep of McMurdo Sound. The flights left and returned to New Zealand the same day.

I was tied to a table which I could turn over 360° by my own power. In the room next door where the public was slides of industrial landscapes were shown. The door between the two rooms was continuously opened and slammed back so only a few people could have a glance at the performance inside each time. When the door was closed you could hear loud monotone music when it was open you didn't hear anything.

In the same event 37-year-old murderer Jesse Anderson was also beaten and died two days later when doctors at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison removed him from life support..
