Then Maygis went to Danae, pulled out a knife and a can of sulfuric acid from his jacket and stabbed the picture several times with a knife, falling into the thigh and abdomen of Danae.

He then stole two television sets, a stereo, a VCR and some jewelry. He was arrested almost a week after the murder after selling one of the TV's.
