(x) 9 years ago Saturday 22nd of September 2007 48-year-old Performance artist Danny Devos aka DDV performs 'Macht Kaputt was Euch Kaputt Macht' in Z33, Zuivelmarkt 33, Hasselt, Limburg, Belgium. I transported a mass of earth in plastic bags from the hole to the art venue. Dressed in a 1970's suit and wearing sunglasses, I handed out a pamphlet to members of the audience. While an extended version of 'Macht kaputt, was euch kaputt macht!' by Ton Steine Scherben played loud through a ghettoblaster, I poured the earth onto the floor in a defensive wall structure. Then I poured a can of petrol over my head. Mixing the petrol with earth from the hole I made small muddy projectiles which I threw at the audience.
