Seberg committed suicide by an overdose of barbiturates and alcohol on 30 August 1979. Her suicide note read "Diego, mon fils chéri, pardonne-moi. Je ne pouvais plus vivre. Comprends-moi."

(-) 31 years ago Sunday 8th of September 1985 Nadine Mauriot is shot and stabbed to death by unidentified serial killer Il Mostro di Firenze in Scopeti, San Casciano in Val di Pesa, Toscana, Italy. Mauriot's left breast and pubis had been removed. Her 25-year-old lover Jean Michel Kraveichvili was killed a short distance away from the tent while trying to escape. The killer sent a taunting note, along with a piece of Mauriot's breast to state prosecutor Silvia della Monica stating that a murder had taken place and challenging local authorities to find the victims. It was the last known murder by Il Mostro.
