Hijack' on Channel 3 Cablevision in Irvine, California, United States. "On January 14 I was asked to do a piece on a local television station by Phyllis Lutjeans. After several proposals were censored by the station or by Phyllis, I agreed to an interview situation. I arrived at the station with my own video crew so that could have my own tape. While the taping was in progress, I requested that the show be transmitted live. Since the station was not broadcasting at the time, they complied. In the course of the interview, Phyllis asked me to talk about some of the pieces I had thought of doing. I demonstrated a T.V. Hijack. Holding a knife at her throat, I threatened her life if the station stopped live transmission. I told her that I had planned to make her perform obcene acts. At the end of the recording, I asked for the tape of the show. I unwound the reel and destroyed the show by dousing the tape with acetone. The station manager was irate, and I offered him my tape which included the show and its destruction, but he refused." On 25 August 1996, after taking 70 doses of Valium along with liquor, Renfro put on camouflage clothing, blackened his face and armed himself with 4 guns, including a military assault rifle, and 500 rounds of ammunition. He shot and killed his 36-year-old Rhena Fultner and his 63-year-old aunt Rose Rutledge. (-) 6 years ago  Sunday 9th of February 2020 Spree killer Jakrapanth Thomma is shot dead by police after a two-day shooting spree at the age of 32 in Terminal 21, Korat, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. The day before Thomma shot his commander Colonel Anantharot Krasae at the Surathamphithak army camp. He then shot and killed the commander's mother-in-law. Thomma then stole a Humvee and drove to the Terminal 21 shopping mall where he left the vehicle and began shooting indiscriminately at people before detonating a cooking gas cylinder, killing 26 civilians. He then took sixteen hostages inside the mall on the fourth floor. Thomma live-streamed on Facebook Liveduring the siege and shared photos and memes on his profile page. Police officers and soldiers stormed the mall and demanded Thomma's surrender, to which he responded by opening fire on them, killing three policemen and a soldier and wounded at least three others.
