Redondo Cain Dellosa later admitted to planting the bomb on board for the Abu Sayyaf guerrilla group. Founder of the Rajah Sulaiman Movement, Ruben Omar Pestano Lavilla, Jr. was arrested in Bahrain on 24 July 2008 as the mastermind behind the bombing.
