Murderess Betty Lou Beets, originally Betty Lou Dunevant is executed by lethal injection at the age of 63 in Huntsville Prison, 815 12th Street, Huntsville, Texas, United States.

Beets was convicted to death for shooting her fifth husband Jimmy Don Beets on 6 August 1983. Also found buried in a garage were the remains of another Beets' husband, Doyle Wayne Barker. Beets did not request a final meal.
