Duke of Valentinois Cesare Borgia is stripped naked and left to die by a party of knights at the age of 32 in Viana, Navarre, Spain.

Borgia received a fatal injury from a spear and was then stripped of all his luxurious garments, valuables and a leather mask covering half his face (disfigured possibly by syphilis during his late years). Borgia was left lying naked with just a red tile covering his genitals.

Apart from the official causes of death Parker also had an advanced case of cirrhosis and had suffered a heart attack. The coroner who performed his autopsy mistakenly estimated Parker's 34-year-old body to be between 50 and 60 years of age.
