Additionally the trapdoor was too small such that several of the condemned suffered bleeding head injuries when they hit the sides of the trapdoor while dropping through.

It dates from the late 1980's and was still alive and kicking in an exhibition in Paleis voor Schone Kunsten, Brussel, Brabant, Belgium.
