On a Singapore Airlines flight from Singapore to Beijing. I was supposed to fly from Brussels to Beijing via Amsterdam but in Brussels the plane was late, then when everybody was seated one guy didn't want to fly and he left the plane, due to security reasons the pilot didn't want to fly before the guy's eventual luggage was taken off the plane, all our luggage was put on the tarmac and we had to go and identify each piece which was then loaded onto the plane again. In Amsterdam I just missed the flight to Beijing, which was supposedly no problem because I could get a flight two hours later to Singapore with an immediate connection to Beijing. While we were queuing into the plane there was a technical problem, which would take only a short while to fix but eventually KLM decided to switch planes and that took two hours. So I missed my flight in Singapore and had to stay overnight to take the first next day flight. What was supposed to be an 11-hour journey took me 44 hours instead.
